Bring a brief. Make it checkable.
A useful project brief names three things before any model starts coding:
- the output you want
- the constraints that matter
- the checks that decide pass or fail
Most multi-AI chats skip that. They collect opinions, then leave you with a long thread and no reviewable hand-off.
Brainstorm is a Linux-first workspace for the part between “we have an idea” and “here are the files.” You bring your own eligible model accounts (BYOK). Platform licensing and model-provider usage stay separate — we do not sell model credits.
Workflow in short:
- Discuss a shared goal across connected models
- Split coding tasks from that goal
- Keep independent verification and human review visible
- Export source when you want the files outside the session
- Publish to the project main branch only after explicit approval
Linux 1.0.1 has release evidence. Windows 11 remains a preview. A Go rewrite is in progress; Android is planned, not available.
